We had a wonderful dining experience, and a big thank you for making it so enjoyable. Ren's and Tsugumi cooking skills were excellent, with great technique, presentation, and attention to detail. The food was cooked perfectly and yummy Ren and Tsugumi was also friendly, professional, and made sure everyone at the table had a great time. The service was attentive throughout the meal, and his positive attitude really enhanced the overall experience. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the restaurant. Thank you for an unforgettable dining experience!
We had a wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious and well-prepared, making the meal thoroughly enjoyable. A special mention goes to Airi, whose service was fantastic. She was cheerful, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. Her warm personality added so much to the overall experience. We would definitely love to come back again.
This restaurant is a great place to try both okonomiyaki and monjayaki. The food was decent overall, but what really stood out was the excellent service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the entire meal. Their hospitality made the experience much more enjoyable and is the main reason I would recommend this restaurant. The prices are on the higher side, but still reasonable considering the overall atmosphere and dining experience. If you're visiting Japan and would like to try okonomiyaki or monjayaki, this is a restaurant worth stopping by.
Visited on 25 May 2026. While walking along the street, we came across this restaurant and decided to give it a try. At first, we were trying to figure out how to place an order and even did a quick Google search for guidance. Honestly, we had no idea what to do initially as the restaurant was very busy. There was a guest standby list at the entrance, so we followed what the other customers were doing and wrote down our names and number of guests. We later approached one of the staff members to enquire further and requested an English menu. In short, every individual is required to order one meal, and there is a cover charge of 380 yen per person. Unfortunately, the experience did not start off well because the male staff member who guided us into the restaurant came across as rather unfriendly. It was partly our fault too since we could not speak Japanese and he could not understand us well either. Still, a simple smile would have made a big difference for both parties. We were directed to the second floor and seated at the back of the restaurant. We were first served by Mami, who brought us towels and later took our order. Thank you, Mami, for your warm hospitality and lovely smile. We ordered the squid ink monja, seafood okonomiyaki, and one draft beer. While waiting, Shun came over to prepare the appetizer for us. He was patient and attentive throughout. Although our interaction was limited, both Mami and Shun provided excellent service. Thank you both for being so welcoming. After finishing our meal, we brought the bill downstairs to make payment at the cashier. Since no one was at the counter, the same unfriendly male staff member eventually came over to settle the bill. 😑 That said, I would still give this place 5 stars because of the outstanding service provided by Mami and Shun, and the dishes were genuinely delicious. I had such a great experience at this monjayaki restaurant! Yuki and Shota were incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They patiently explained the menu and showed us how to cook the monjayaki properly, which made it so much more fun and easy for first-timers. They kept checking in on us with big smiles and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. The food was delicious, but their warm and friendly service really made the night special. I truly appreciate how thoughtful they were. If I come back to Tokyo, I will definitely visit again. Thank you, Yuki and Shota!
