After seeing the reviews we decided to go here and I was honestly quite disappointed. The size of the meals are smaller than expected and the taste is okay but nothing special. Also the service can definitely be better, drinks that were forgotten, we asked for an extra plate as we wanted to share food.. well I am still waiting for that plate. Atmosphere is nice but besides that the restaurant is unfortunately not very special. Would not go again.
Tacos are the highlight, for 400 yen per taco, it comes with a lot of meat and the best are the marinated meat tacos. The burrito can be improved. We went between lunch and dinner, so there weren't many people, but the atmosphere would look good with a lot of people.
As someone who was on vacation for around 2 weeks, this was an amazing reminder of the food at home. Especially Mexican cuisine, the guac w chips had one of the better guacamole that I’ve personally had. Along with the horchata, very cinnamony and sweet. Our server Ein Gyin, was outstanding with her hospitality and service. Very friendly and helped with bringing an amazing atmosphere. I would recommend and suggest the restaurant to maybe switch up the music and play some Hispanic tunes here and there. During my stay I heard only English centric music, still a vibe!!
I LOVE THIS PLACE! We ordered quesadilla, tacos, burrito, and chicken wings and THEY WERE ALL SO GOOD. I can't pick one as my favorite because I like them all. They let you pay at your table, too. 10/10 will come again.
The food is below average for its cost-performance value. I ordered a set lunch that comes with French fries and a salad bowl. The French fries tasted ordinary similar to those I can get from gyomu. Salad is slightly better, because I had never tried salad with corn paste sauce. For the main, I went with steak. It’s perfectly cooked (medium rare), but the sauce is very watery and tastes like cheap sauce. Perhaps switching to a wine-braised sauce would make it more enjoyable. The staffs were not very attentive except the food runner who ordered my food. Great service from Rovindi. Unfortunately, I was not served with plain water (I’m not sure if it’s free or not, but usually it’s free in restaurants in Japan) The atmosphere is too dark and I could see that many customers had difficulty in checking the menu, maybe a table lamp would improve that. Overall, it's a restaurant that I would not go to again given a different choice. Maybe that explains why it's so quiet during lunch hour.
