I came to this store for dinner before my flight back home. Located down a flight of stairs from the main road, i attempted to satiate my craving for a donburi in the heart of Omote-sando in this highly rated place. Pros: Staff were very friendly There’s an English menu They will give you some tea at the end of the meal to pour over your rice Not too expensive Cons: For a store that specialises in salmon, I honestly felt that it did not meet the expectations of a donburi in Japan - the salmon was thin and tasted bland, the rice was normal steamed rice as opposed to sushi rice, and reminded me of Kei Kaisendon from back home. I left disappointed.
Excellent, fast service. Amazing and delicious food. Everything was better than expected. I'll be coming back again soon. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
Delicious salmon ikura bowls. Once you finish your bowl, you can add free soup to the remaining rice. Small location and friendly service.
One of the best meals I’ve had in Japan 🫶🏽 kind of hidden down a set of stairs, this place turned out to be the perfect spot for a cozy lunch. The salmon was fresh and the tea broth was excellent. They did not give me an English menu but I was able to understand using the Kuli Kuli app.
