Sushidokoro Unitora

My favorite sushi place in Tokyo, so far!! 7/5 stars! My wife and I stumbled upon this place 3 years ago, and thank goodness, we took a photo to find it again! It was packed last time, but we lucked out with a spot right away! Melt in your mouth sushi!!!! If you have the chance, run over here!! (Hopefully there’s not a long wait! (We came here super early both times (7-8am or so!))) Yay morning sushi!!!! Cheers!
We came here for lunch and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The seafood was exceptionally fresh, the sushi was beautifully prepared, and every dish was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere captured everything we were looking for in Tsukiji. A perfect lunch and one of our favorite meals in Tokyo. We would happily come back again. Highly recommended. 🍣✨
This was the best sushi we had at Tsukiji Market — and honestly, one of the best sushi experiences we’ve ever had. Everything was extremely fresh, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere had an elevated feel while still keeping that authentic market charm. The service was also excellent. The highlight for me was hearing my daughter say this was the best sushi of her life. That made the experience even more special. Overall, it was a wonderful meal, a great experience, and money very well spent. I would absolutely come back.
This was absolutely exceptional. Tsukiji is loaded with impressive sushi venues, but this quiet “hidden” sushi bar remains my first choice when touring the outer market. This is ultra premium tuna nigiri accompanied by the chefs recommendations. It is an authentic sushi experience, with a front row seat to observe the chefs work absolute magic. If you get to pick one sushi bar experience in Tsukiji, choose Itadori bekkan.
11 seaters sushi counter style restaurant tuck in the middle of building. Took us a while to find it as there is no signboard on the street at all. You just have to follow Google Map to walk right into the building to find it. We were early and had the red pretty much to ourselves except another lone diner who arrived much later. Our sushi was the best we had this trip. We even ordered à la carte after finishing our set meal. Miso soup was in huge serving. Warm us up on a cold drizzling morning. Definitely will return for sure next time I am in town. It’s called Sushi Dokoro Unitora now.
