really enjoyed the food here! for Indonesian food overseas, the taste is honestly really good and authentic. i especially loved the ayam bumbu kuning and the sambal matah — both were super tasty. their ayam bakar kuta bali is also good when i came, the place was quite busy too, so the atmosphere felt lively. will definitely come back again when i visit japan
It is pretty authentic I will say. Busy restaurant and fast pace. I enjoyed my dinner here. I can see that it was quite famous for tourists too which is kinda out of my expectation because it is in a building at third floor, we only came across by chance and decided to go with it
A Reliable Slice of Bali in Japan. This was my third visit, and it’s officially my go-to for when I miss Indonesian flavors. They specialize in Balinese cuisine—my personal favorite—and the execution is solid for a foreign market. The Trade-off: The flavor profile is definitely more "tasteless" or mild compared to what we get back home, clearly adjusted to suit the local Japanese palate. The Logistics: > * Portion Size: Normal and satisfying. Value: Pricing is very competitive with surrounding local restaurants. Human Ops: The staff is exceptionally kind and warm, contributing to a great overall ambience. If you're an Indonesian expat looking for a taste of home, this is a high-efficiency choice, even if the "heat" is dialed down.
Tried a few dishes from this halal Indonesian restaurant near the busy strip near Meiji Shrine. The food was okay, I wished they seasoned the meats a bit more. We had a few skewers that weren't in the pictures and they were covered in a peanut sauce. Overall the food was decent enough. They do have a prayer room available inside the restaurant. The wait time for me was around 10-15 mins, it may be longer as the place gets pretty busy at lunch. The pricing was good considering we were in the city. Give it a try Alhamdulillah.
This restaurant truly deserves a 5-star rating. As the name suggests, I tried Balinese specialties when I came here, and the food was absolutely delicious. For Indonesians living in Japan, this restaurant can help ease the longing for authentic Indonesian cuisine. In addition to its very strategic location, the exceptionally friendly service is another big plus for this restaurant.
