great dishes. cheff was so friendly
Revisit Mar 2026 Finally managed get counter seat for lunch. New menu with foie gras n truffles, crispy skin shirako with sauce, kinme fish and wagyu beef. Great wine list as always and no problem in selecting one. Thank you chef and team. Sept 2025 Back for lunch. New menu but same super wine list. High quality menu n service. 18 Jan 2024 Went back following day for dinner and even better esp after skipping lunch. Turbot fish and kyoto duck. Had a local red merlot which was good. Only feedback was use of black truffles which did not 'show'. 17 jan 2024 2nd floor to Kenzo winery office. Excellent french dishes with winepairing or ala carte wine menu with wide selection of French wines. Truly great meal and wines to complement. Value for lunch too
Good dishes with top ingredients, like the lamb. Wine pairing was weak though; one of four was good. Fish dish had a slight bitterness. Good value for a starred place, but service and atmosphere felt more like a fancy family restaurant. My course came out last despite arriving early. Wine service odd; felt like I got leftovers while regulars got fresh pours. Chef seemed annoyed when I raised concerns about the wine and slow service. Cold welcome dishes and cold meat weren't great.
