I ordered the lamb chop and it was so good, no “lamby” smell at all, which I personally really appreciate. The meat was super soft and easy to eat, which surprised me because lamb can sometimes be a bit tricky. The restaurant itself is clean, nice, and not too loud, so it’s actually comfortable to sit and enjoy your meal. Also tried the crème brûlée and it was really good too. Overall, really enjoyed it!
A classic American high-end steakhouse in Tokyo, perfect for special occasions. The portions are generous, and the service is excellent. If you’re looking for a great steak, this is definitely the place. Don’t hesitate.
We visited for Sunday lunch (4 adults and 1 child) and unfortunately had a terrible experience. The day before our reservation the restaurant called to say they had no high chairs available. When I asked what the solution would be, they suggested that I bring my own. Honestly, who brings their own high chair to a restaurant? About a minute later they called back saying they had found one for us, but the initial interaction had already left a poor first impression. It also felt very last-minute to receive this notice just one day before our visit. Once seated, things unfortunately didn’t improve. Our steaks took nearly two hours to arrive, and we eventually had to cancel one pasta dish because we simply didn’t have time to wait any longer. When the steak finally arrived, it was ordered medium rare but came out medium. Service throughout the meal was quite inattentive. Drinks were never checked on, plates weren’t cleared, and when our large porterhouse steak arrived it wasn’t served for us, which you would normally expect at this price point. Not all sides arrived with the steak either, and we even had to clear space on the table ourselves. We had also asked at the beginning if fries for the child could be served earlier, but that never happened. The server himself was friendly, but the overall execution was very poor. Unfortunately, everything that could go wrong seemed to go wrong, and by the end of the meal we just wanted to leave. None of us will be returning.
