The food is excellent. We always stop by here in our Japan trips and this is our third or fourth time at this restaurant. We got the Wagyu tenderloin, beef tongue, and one more premium cut. The breading is perfect and meat is tender. Our waiter Mi Ta was super friendly and told us how to eat everything. We will be sure to come back again.
My first gyukatsu experience at GYUKATSU Kyoto Katsugyu Akihabara Store turned out really well. Even though I waited in line around 6 p.m., everything moved along smoothly once I got in, and the staff made the ordering process easy with clear English explanations. The meal arrived quickly, which was a nice bonus after the wait.
Great food. Came with family and we each ordered different meals and they are all good. Service was prompt as well. Will highly recommend for anyone to try them. Located at Yodobashi Akiba 8F.
Came back from a really far trip to see flower gardens up north. Anyway, we needed a quick dine in for dinner and found this hotspot on the 6th floor of AKIBA of Akihabara. Apparently, they serve raw but crispy steaks that are self serving meaning we would cook the steaks on a live fire or barbecue grill. I found that quite unique and definitely found many places following this method of cooking. I guess it’s more Japanese style but honestly, that’s what distinguishes Japan to American cuisine. I recommend it to all tourists staying within Akihabara.
Good: the beef was superb! The food was really good. Bad: the cups were not that clean. And the staff was in a hurry to clean your table even if you are still there eating.
