Perfect Dining Experience! I visited with a reservation. All staff was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and enthusiastic about recommending their dishes. They had bright smiles on their faces throughout the entire meal, making me feel genuinely welcome. When I was leaving, a staff noticed I had my hands full after settling the bill and thoughtfully asked if I needed any assistance. You can truly feel that the whole team respects and loves what they do. The restaurant has an amazing vibe, and the food quality is great. Highly recommended!
We were walking around asakusa, looking for a lunch spot and we saw that there was a branch in this area. We decided to try it out. Luckily we had no wait as a walk in if two, and after being seated we ordered our meals. We both tried the thick beef tongue but our extra meats differed. My partner got the normal Wagyu steak and I got the other variation of beef tongue. Everything here was really delicious. The meat was super tender and all of the sides paired nicely with the dishes. The lemon sour was also great because it tasted so fresh.
Didn't know what to expect from tongue restaurant, but was pleasantly surprised. Food was very good, meat was tasty and tender. Sides well matched into sets. Lemon matcha tea was very refreshing and well balanced! Good price for the quality and amount. Despites busy hours the food was served surprisingly quick. Staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!
Great spot to try if you are looking for ox tongue. They offer both set menus and a la carte options with a wide variety of dishes and cuts to choose from. While one of the tongues I tried had an unusual texture and a slightly strange taste, the other varieties were excellent. The restaurant is perfect for solo diners or small groups. Service is highly attentive, with plenty of staff constantly checking on tables. They provide free wifi and menus in multiple languages. Worth trying if you are in Asakusa and craving ox tongue.
Personally, I found the Atsugiri cut more to my liking. It had a wonderful texture—slightly crunchy with a satisfying bite, yet still tender and juicy. The contrast between the two cuts made for an enjoyable tasting experience and allowed me to appreciate the different ways beef tongue can be prepared. Overall, a great place to experience gyutan in Asakusa, especially if you're curious to compare the various cuts for yourself. While its abit more expensive than chains like Negishi, i like that their beef tongue cuts are thicker. Staff were extremely ftiendly too.
