The best Yakitori we've ever had. So much so, we went 3 times! The wait was a bit long but well worth it. The staff were very friendly every skewer was so delicious. The menu was extensive, unique, and filled with Delicious bites. The atmosphere was wonderful and we often think about how enjoyable our meals there were. Make this your #1 Yakitori stop!
Can’t get over the dining experience here. Looks very unassuming from the outside, but the interior is giving so much vibe and the service was immaculate. Had the assorted vege skewers and definitely great samplers. Added classic chicken hearts and tsukune ala carte, perfectly paired with the shochu there. Strongly to make reservation here.
I was planning to make a reservation, but since it was a weekday evening, I just walked in—and luckily got a table. Among all the skewers, the wagyu skewer was definitely the highlight. The beer and highballs were a bit underwhelming though. Still, the atmosphere was great and the staff were very friendly, so I had a good experience overall.
The kushiyaki sticks we ordered were delicious, with our personal favourites being the tsukune (chicken meatballs), beef skirt, bacon wrapped quail eggs, enoki, and the pork belly. The sides were really tasty too. The Japanese Yam had a light flavour and came with a sauce that had a hint of horseradish. The potato salad was loaded with bacon, onions, and came topped with a hanjuku egg. The highballs were a nice drink to go with the meal, slightly sour and fizzy, perfect with grilled meats. It was quite crowded when we arrived for dinner so reservations are recommended! There is a hole under the table for you to put your legs in when you sit on the floor and the staff helped to keep your shoes at the entrance. Overall a great place for skewered food that I’m happy to have tried out!
I would give this place 20 stars if I could! The atmosphere is just perfect. Sake bottles on the wall with chill electronic jazz. The food is just insanely good. We ordered skewers. Every skewer tasted different and every bite felt like an explosion of flavour in your mouth. My favourite were the liver which had the perfect balance with the sauce and the way it was grilled. Their special skewers are creative and just amazing. The mushroom with the cheddar cheese is a blend of mushrooms and melted cheddar that just melts in your mouth, my partner literally had to close his eyes when he bit the first bite. The speciality yam and the tartar is also very good with a special spice that does not feel like the mayo is overpowering in the tartar. My only advice go early! Then you actually spend a couple of hours eating and drinking. We came late and had to eat everything in one hour! Still totally worth it!
