⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Returned to Tokyo for a holiday after 5 years, which also meant it had been 5 years since my last visit to Ukai-Tei. I'm happy to say the experience was every bit as exceptional as I remembered. We opted for the Special Course - ¥38,500, and every course was beautifully executed, showcasing the restaurant's signature precision, premium ingredients, and meticulous attention to detail. My partner is allergic to beef so they swap the main to abalone. Overall, food remains impeccably executed, with every dish showcasing the same precision, quality, and attention to detail that made me fall in love with this restaurant years ago. Despite all the incredible dining options in Tokyo, Ukai-Tei continues to hold its place as my top restaurant choice. Will definitely return again the next time we booked our Tokyo trip.
Absolutely the best abalone I have ever had , tender , fresh and exceptionally prepared . Wagyu was prepared at the precise temperature and chef was attentive at every detail . Staff was a bit in a rush and quick on the check which is something that I personally do not appreciate .
A very delicious experience. I am not a frequent beef eater, but I felt the beef was the best I have ever had, expertly prepared in front of my eyes on the teppanaki grill. Great wines and saki. Just a wonderful experience.
Came here multiple times. Brought our kids this time round. Enjoyable teppanyaki meal with beautiful decor and comfortable dessert room. It’s like a museum trip too. A card was prepared for my son as we celebrate a milestone. They printed a family picture for the card too.
My all time favorite teppanyaki place. Best quality of food and service. We went for the surf and turf set. Lobster is cooked to perfection, and the wagyu steak melted in our mouths. Condiments were all very well prepared, delicate and delectable as well. Lunch hour in Omotesando is quiet and we enjoyed the view. Worth the visit if you are in Tokyo.
