I visited Kinme Sushi Roppongi and enjoyed their omakase course with all-you-can-eat sushi and drinks. The course itself was already generous and satisfying before the all-you-can-eat even began. My favorites were the fatty tuna, the butter soy sauce inari sushi, and the freshly seared sushi. The chef served it immediately after torching it, so I could enjoy it at the perfect temperature, with the aroma and rich flavor at their best. The drink selection was also excellent, including sake, wine, and premium whisky. One thing I really appreciated was that this wasn't the kind of place where you simply eat or drink as much as possible. Instead, I enjoyed asking the chef for today's recommendations and pairing different sushi with different drinks. To me, that's part of the charm of Japanese sushi culture—trusting the chef, enjoying the conversation, and savoring each piece at its best. If you visit, I'd recommend taking your time and enjoying the experience rather than trying to maximize the all-you-can-eat. I think you'll have a much more memorable meal.
