Amazing experience in Asakusa. Typical monjayaki cooked right at your table. Ami, our waitress, was super nice explaining everything to us and very attentive. The food was amazing, really tasty and with local products (the seafood). We ordered the seafood monjayaki and the pork okonomiyaki You are required to order one dish per person though, but that is no problem as the portions are nice and they can be shared. Extremely recommended!!!
First time trying Monja and Okonomiyaki with the kids. We started with the omelette which was a mandatory appetizer after 5pm. It was flavourful and creamy. Then we had the whole grilled squid and it tasted fresh and amazing, the soy sauce mixed with squid liver was delicious. They had a wide selection of toppings which was great because even my picky eater was willing to try Monja as we picked the pork belly, cheese and baby star ( crunchy snack noodle), very child friendly flavours. We also had a mosuke yakisoba (pork belly, bean sprouts and veggie fried noodles) and a seafood okonomiyaki. Everything was cooked to order right in front of us. Our server Ami was so helpful and explained each dish patiently. Her English was great which made it easy to communicate our needs. When we asked if she can make the noodle next as our picky eater was waiting for us to finish the Monjayaki, she offered to cook the noodles separately to shorten the wait time for him. She was amazing and we would definitely recommend others to try this restaurant!!
This place is perfect for tourists. The staff are friendly and ready to talk,the food is delicious and visually appealing, and the restaurant has a super cozy atmosphere, making it ideal for trying monjagi and okonomiyaki for the first time. You really have to try it, trust me.
Food, service and the atmosphere where all absolutely divine. My family and I were all lost, cold and confused but thankfully we found this amazing restaurant. Not only was the staff understanding when it came to communication (Shout out to Ken and Take) but they also catered to us to ensure we had the best experience. 10/10 would definitely recommended and will come again on our next visit!
We had okonomiyaki and it was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was super friendly and welcoming, and the server was amazing — he cooked right in front of us. Huge thanks to Take for such a wonderful experience!
