My wife and I had our last dinner in Tokyo here while staying in the Hyatt. Highlights were the Wagyu steak, sushi, appetizer courses. Everything was fresh, delicious, and presented beautifully, and service was attentive. We would highly recommend this restaurant. Note that you must make reservations in advance and choose a set meal. Also note that if there are large parties nearby, it can get a little loud.
As always, I never write reviews unless it’s more than excellent. Chef Kurosawa served us, in both freshness and taste, the most amazing Sushi Omakase meal in ages. And I am a high level sushi addict. He has given subtle but fine nuances to the variety of fish that brings out their incredible unique taste. All the while, the waiter Takeda-san was extremely attentive to all our needs. This meal will be hard to beat wherever I go from now on. Even Nobu, who I love from his flagship Matsuhisa in Los Angeles can take a few notes. We will surely be back.
We had two wonderful Japanese meal experiences at the Nadaman . The staff made us feel special and made our dinner experience special. They made special effort to explain and enlighten us about every dish . The staff were very attentive and friendly making the experience next level . The Kaiseki experience was interesting and a taste explosion visually and in taste . The Omakase style dining was my first experience eating sushi and I was very impressed with every bite of sushi . An experience I will never forget , chef Shigemasa Kurosawa , is so experienced and amazing in his trade . The staff was so clear in their effort to explain and make our experience unique.
My husband and I have been to Japan 5 times, and we've made it a tradition to have our last lunch here at NADAMAN before leaving to the airport. We've regretably missed our lunch here twice, once due to running behind schedule, and last year because it was closed for construction. The level of taste, quality, and service that we've enjoyed each time here has always been excellent. Staff is so attentive, professional, and patient (important when Japanese is not your first language). This restaurant is located inside the Hyatt Regency in Tokyo, 3rd Floor, which we have stayed at before, but we've also eaten here even though we've booked with different hotels other times. This restaurant is on the fancier side, with a very intimate setting sitting about 10 plp, and a great view of park right outside. Prices during Lunch range at about $100 USD per person, which we think is worth the whole experience, specially since we are celebrating our last meal in Japan and we enjoy the quiet sophisticated atmosphere (and since they don't accept tipping); its quite a treat for us. I love that after your meal, they take you to another section of the restaurant to have a tea or coffe and dessert while enjoying the serene view outside. Personally, I'm easily over stimulated and had never had a teppanyaki before this experience because they seemed chaotic (although they looked prettycool), but now I find myself looking for a similar experience to Nadaman back in LA (I've yet to find it). Anyhow, from our server, Takeda, to our Chef, Mr. Akatsu to Mr. Masunaga (who prepped our dessert), each provided something to make our experience special. Our Chef even offered to take a picture with us! and Mr. Masunaga decorated our dessert plate with a happy anniversary wish. I highly recommend this restaurant and encourage being present, because it shows appreciation for the effort the chef and staff put into their work. I also recommend asking, or letting chef know if it's ok to film or take photos. We've never gotten a no, and I've learned that Japanese appreciate being asked or alerted. I hope we can continue celebrating our anniversary here when we go back to Japan. Arigato gozaimasu NadaMan for our wonderful culinary experience🙏. We always leave with a happy belly, and a happy heart 💖 Ps: There was grilled veggies and meat, but I ate it before remembering to take a picture. The pictures available are from a video i took while they were being grilled, and the salad and small plates has the dipping salts and sauces used for the meat. 😊
The restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience with beautifully presented dishes that highlight the freshness and quality of Japanese ingredients. Each bite reflects authentic flavors with a refined touch, from delicate sashimi to perfectly balanced hot dishes. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, blending modern elegance with traditional Japanese aesthetics. Attentive staff provide outstanding service, ensuring every detail is taken care of, which makes the overall experience both relaxing and memorable.
