We visited Signature at Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo, for my parents’ 39th wedding anniversary. Suzune was absolutely amazing and arranged a wonderful surprise for them, making the occasion feel genuinely special. Her warmth, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail were greatly appreciated. The food was generally good, and the fish dish in particular was outstanding, beautifully prepared and the highlight of the meal. However, a few dishes missed the mark for us, and the dessert was unfortunately rather disappointing, especially given the restaurant’s level. Overall, it was a memorable celebration, largely thanks to Suzune’s exceptional hospitality. She truly made my parents’ anniversary special!

A truly lovely dining experience from start to finish. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with elegant, calm décor that immediately sets the tone for a relaxed and refined evening. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. They made us feel genuinely appreciated as guests, which added a special touch to the experience. I had noted pescatarian and vegetarian dietary needs when making the reservation, and the team went above and beyond—preparing thoughtful 5-course set menus tailored to us. Each dish was crafted with care and attention to detail. The flavors were phenomenal, and the presentation was absolutely exquisite. The dessert plate was a highlight—well worth the additional cost and a perfect way to end the meal. Overall, a delightful experience that I would highly recommend!
I have been to Signature restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental couple of times and they always manage to amaze me. The resturant is pricy but definitely worth it given the experience and the quality of dining. They are among the best restaurants that I have ever been to hands down. Each course is meticulously made and a joy to have (I recommend taking small bites to fully enjoy the mix of flavours that are included). The presentation is also a work of art with amazing attention to details. The service is great as well. All the staff are friendly, hospitable and make sure that everything is great.
I had a dinner there with my fiance for her birthday one day before we left Japan. We had a six course fixed menu dinner. Their wine selection was amazing. Their food “while I had better in a fine setting before” was great and I enjoyed every bite of it. The staff treated us like royalty and there was a welcoming champagne as well as at least one additional dessert for my fiancé birthday . it is a great place to celebrate a nice occasion . The view from there is a phenomenal and second to none. I will definitely go back.
