Delicious sushi and food! The staff are warm and friendly, and I would also like to especially commend Rio who served me well. Both the chef and staff have a good command of English, which is a plus! I also like their warabimochi dessert and the serving was bigger than I expected.
Our second time eating at Itamae Sushi. We ate here exactly a year ago and had to come back. The food is excellent and the sushi is so tasty and tender. On weekends expect a wait as the restaurant has limited seating but it is worth the wait. It may be on the pricier side because you are in Ginza, but it does not disappoint. We had two orders of the omakase and an order of the blue find tuna. Everything was delicious and was beyond our expectations. On both our past visits we have observed foreign visitors having difficulty or experiencing issues communicating or being difficult or rude to the staff. Please remember to be respectful as we are visitors in Japan. Whatever difficulty we are having to order food in a Japanese restaurant, it is 10 times more stressful for the restaurant staff to take our orders. Please have patience and you will receive an absolutely marvelous meal and service. We will definitely be back for a third time. Thank you to the staff and sushi chefs for another great visit.
We chose as the last night of stay in Ginza. Friendly staff and sushi chef. Everything we had was amazing. My kid loved sushi and we are definitely coming back! They speak English and Japanese and it made easy for my husband to communicate in English with them. Highly recommend!
A wonderful find after a long afternoon of shopping at Ginza Six. While the prices initially seemed a bit high, the quality of the sushi made it absolutely worth every yen. We ordered à la carte, and every piece was a masterpiece. The fish was incredibly fresh—literally melting in our mouths—and the seasoning was perfectly on point, requiring no extra adjustment. A huge thank you to the staff; our waiter was exceptionally kind and made the experience even better. If you're in Ginza, this place is highly recommended for a high-quality meal!
We had a late lunch at GINZA SIX around 3 PM without a reservation and were surprised by how smooth the experience was. After just a 10-minute wait, we were seated at the counter. We chose one of the recommended set menus, which included several appetizers followed by 13 pieces of sushi. Everything was freshly prepared right in front of us, one piece at a time. The sushi chef not only crafted each item with precision but also explained every piece in English, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Service was efficient, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Given the prime location in Ginza and the quality of the food, the final bill felt very reasonable. A great spot for high-quality sushi without the need for advance booking.
