Wow I forgot to put a review for the visit almost a year ago. Never mind, the food was great. Located at akihabara so you have to e there early, at least 30 minutes on a week day. Took a while to wait for food but definitely worth every penny. You can just order anything confidently.
This place is OUTSTANDING! The best tonkatsu I’ve ever had. It’s a small, quaint place with seating on the first and second floor. The staff is friendly, welcoming and attentive. The premium pork and shrimp are out of this world good! Somehow the breading is crisp and soft at the same time and doesn’t overpower the taste of the meat. We went on a weekday around lunchtime and there was a line already forming. It wasn’t a long wait, about 20 mins. It’s kinda tucked away but it’s worth the search to find it.
The chefs and staff are so lovely. There's always a small line but moved steadily along. Perfectly crispy. My favorite was the shrimp and my husband's was the prime cut. Both absolutely delicious.
Worth waiting in very cold wind for about 20 min. I ordered the most expensive one with a bowl of rice. The first bite was already impressive. I highly suggest not to order a set, but the pork only.
Absolutely delicious. We got a recommendation for this spot from a local here and we’re glad we took the advice! My partner and I split a filet meal and the prawn meal. The meat was juicy and perfect. We could tell this was a local / long standing establishment and were so grateful that they took us so close to closing time. The service was fast and efficient and you can tell that the team truly cares for each and every guest. As a business owner myself, I love this level of care and it goes a long way. Definitely check out this spot if you’re staying in the Akihabara area!
