We ordered ramen and cheesecake. Both of them delicious. The service and the food were amazing, I’d definitely comeback and I highly recommend the dessert after any meal. Everything inside that kitchen is pure magic. The head chef is an experienced and talented guy with great ideas.
Arrived at 11.30am. The place is cozy and has homey feeling! The set meal was 1,550Yen includes cheesecake and drink (and free lunch! if you come before 3pm). The cheesecake was not too sweet nor salty which is nice!! and it was SO SMOOTH! it has subtle smoky flavor and it just glides on your tongue. The owner is really friendly too. I'll definitely come back here the next time I'm in Japan!
Came here because we saw a little sign saying that they were a new business without a major tourist Presence. Decides to give it a try and was worth it. I think we shocked the waitress when we ordered between 2 people we got 2 steak bowls and 2 Sakur A ramen. The steak bowls came out and the steak was really flavorful. The rice had soaked up a lot of the juice and had a really good flavor. It also came with a cup of ice tea which was a nice palette cleaner in between dishes. The sakura ramen came out and was somehow better than the steak. While it doesn't have any protein, the broth had a delicious, fulfilling flavor. The ramen noodles were thin and soaked up the broth perfectly. While we didn't end up getting it, we watched 2 other customers order the melted cheesecake. The smell from it fills up the entire restaurant. That scent would make a perfect candle. I will be recommending this place to anybody I know making their way out to Tokyo. This is the definition of a hidden gem, even so close to a major shopping area
Stumbled across this place for dinner. It was one of the best nights we had in Tokyo. Chef Yu was so welcoming and treated us so well. We didn’t stop laughing the whole night. The food was an experience in itself, we loved the attention to detail and story behind every meal. Please don’t skip the wasabi/soy cheesecake, if you’re a soy and wasabi lover, this dessert will be one you won’t forget. Absolutely delicious. Thank you for an amazing night, Chef Yu. We loved all your stories, getting to know you and taste your unique creations!
We had an exceptional experience at Café Hana. The cheesecake was not only very good but also really fun, with a spectacular flambé presentation. The server was extremely friendly, we ended up chatting a lot and sharing some laughs, which made the moment even better. The caramel ice cream was excellent, possibly one of the best I’ve had. The “secret” cheesecake with wasabi and soy sauce was a real surprise, unexpectedly very good. We had a great time overall. Definitely worth a visit.
