We had a wonderful experience here. The monjayaki was absolutely delicious and unlike anything I had tried before. As a visitor, it felt like a very unique and memorable Japanese dining experience. A special thank you to Konomi, who prepared the monjayaki for us. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and highly skilled. She patiently cooked everything at our table and made the whole experience enjoyable and easy for us. Her excellent service made our meal even more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking to try authentic and delicious monjayaki with outstanding hospitality.
Food is good. There are no photos on the menu, which I think can be improved. The staff are helpful. The price is reasonable and worthy considering where it is located. But it is not somewhere worth me waiting for 30 mins on the line. I guess Tokyo Downtowner aren’t very picky with food taste.
Seafood okonomiyaki with mustard mayonnaise, no toppings. Best ever! They don’t go cheap on the seafood. It was a bit smaller than usual but very delicious. Also, the place comes with a good view. Next time, I need to try their local specialty which is an okonomiyaki variant. That way, I can play with the heating plates on the table.
Monja is super delicious. Our server Mano did an awesome job cooking while explaining how to eat for us. The only thing that we dont really like is the Seafood garlic rice. It's basically fried risotto, not fried rice, so the rice is hard in the center.

The staff here are super polite, attentive, and genuinely helpful, guiding you on the right way to enjoy every bite — perfect even if it’s your first time trying monjayaki. We tried the pork okonomiyaki and seafood okonomiyaki — both were absolutely excellent. That okonomiyaki sauce? Divine. So rich, savoury, and comforting. Every bite was satisfying and very filling. If you’re in Tokyo and want a truly interactive, local food experience, this is a must-try
