I'm an American and I can tell that this place is trying to emulate that American experience and it absolutely oozes charm. Unlike other restaurants in Japan you pay at the table, and the server will check in from time to time to make sure you're enjoying your meal. I speak a decent amount of Japanese and had no issues ordering but I'm not sure what the experience is like if you only know English. The menu did have lots of English on and as well as pictures so you would probably still be able to order. The food was fantastic here and the menu had a good variety of options. You get free bread along with the meal. There is also apparently a happy hour but I didn't try anything off of that menu. If I'm in the area and want steak I will absolutely be coming back.

A fun snack stop with a surprisingly cozy vibe 👍 Outback Steakhouse Ikebukuro in Ikebukuro, Tokyo has a wonderfully warm and cozy atmosphere that makes the space feel like a small treat. We stopped in for snacks and cocktails, and the nachos and blooming onion were fun and satisfying. Even without trying the steak, Outback Steakhouse Ikebukuro felt like a place worth returning to for a proper meal.
Food was delicious and staff were very friendly and supportive!!!💕 Was my 1st time here so I asked lots of questions but the staff who was in charge of my table was very patient and sweet! Also I didn’t know that you could get refill for sauce for free. We asked for another serving of Ranch😆Also drinks are refillable! Highly recommended! About ¥8,000 for 2 people. We were very stuffed hahaha. Also the honey bread was on the house too! Excellent! 💫 We were also asked if we would like another serving of the honey bread too!
