A hidden gem in Roppongi Tokyo. The restaurant only located at a humble neighbourhood. However, one will be surprised by the lavish Japanese deco which creates strong cultural vibe both inside and at the front door of the restaurant. Very attentive service was provided by two young ladies who speak very good English. This is very helpful for foreigners to communicate with the chef to gain more information on the dishes if they wish. While the food was with high quality and skilfully prepared, the price of the omakase meal and pairing drinks are extremely value for money. Cannot imagine how good the business will be if it is located in my hometown. It was really an enjoyable and memorable meal for us.
Went for dinner with colleagues. This is a high-end sushi restaurant that feels more modern than traditional in both setting and approach. The service was outstanding from start to finish, clearly operating at a very high level. The food quality was amazing, and what stood out most was how the menu incorporates elements closer to a kaiseki experience rather than a standard sushi course. The more experimental dishes were particularly interesting, including a smoked dish and a small shabu-style course, both of which were very well executed. The ambiance is sleek and contemporary, moving away from the classic sushi counter atmosphere. The selection of Japanese sake is exceptional and clearly curated with care, making it easy to find excellent pairings. This is not a cheap place, but it is well suited for business dinners or special occasions where quality, service, and experience matter.
