Really incredible place! The steaks are great—we had three different types. Even my 7-year-old son loved it. He said this is the best place in Japan and that he wants to come back. So we will. Our chef from Nepal was incredibly kind, and we had a really nice conversation with her during dinner. A special extra for me: I traveled to Japan with a severe fish and seafood allergy, which makes eating out quite challenging. She fully understood the situation and adapted the course meal accordingly, making sure it was safe for me. I really appreciated the care and attention. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back.
we were looking to avoid the many tourists traps in asakusa and stumbled across this gem. we managed a walk in at lunch time and spent about £40 each for a full course menu with drinks. excellent portions and great food. After dinner the chef was making pleasant conversation and turns out he's the owner and his family have run the restaurant since 1978! very authentic and friendly place.
It’s been always very tempting and mouthwatering over lunchtime. We loved all the time, it’s one of my favorite restaurants in Tokyo.
Our third time to this restaurant and we will be back again. Thank you Kato for an amazing Teppanyaki everything cooked to perfection. We had such a fun night also enjoying to meet the two lovely Japanese ladies we shared the table with.
We had an unforgettable dining experience at Steakhouse Matsunami! We were fortunate enough to have owner and handsome Chef Matsunami! The Wagyu was so delicious! We were sooo full at the end of the meal! It was one of the best meals we had in Tokyo! If you are looking for good eats, you won't be disappointed! Highly recommend!!!
