Lucked out and got seated in under 5 minutes! The broth was super rich and full of flavor, honestly wished I had enough room in my stomach for a second bowl. Everything was delicious, though I’d give it a full 5 stars if the pork chashu was just a bit more tender. Still definitely worth a visit!
Top ramen spot in Akihabara! Nice little hole in the wall, first you would order on a standing kiosk, get a ticket printed and sit at a table. The seating is very close and restrictive so not ideal for large parties. The ramen is SO GOOD! Honestly the best I’ve ever had. They have an orange juice/sprite mix drink which was nice and flrefreshing as well. Lots of spices in the table for adding in. And a pitcher of water do drink is available.
Super small space. Probably about 14 seats inside. They use every square inch inside. Of course, there will be a line outside. While you are waiting, they take your order to keep things moving along. (They do have English menus available.) Food comes very quickly after you are seated. Everything is very flavorful and service is awesome. There are plenty of ramen places around but this is definitely one of the better ones. Check it out if you are in the area!
Dare I say the best ramen in Tokyo! This well-known chain restaurant doesn’t compromise on quality despite its high popularity. There’s always a queue especially during peak mealtimes, but the queue moves fast thanks to their organisation and efficiency. The space inside is a little cramped so people don’t tend to loiter. I love the tonkotsu soup with fried garlic oil. It’s incredibly flavourful without being heavy. Get fried garlic on the side for the additional crunch.
Ramen was very tasty, well worth the wait under the rain, very cosy restaurant with limited seating, staff were very nice and accomodating. They have vegan ramen options too and all ramen types can be customised. Can add extra serve of noodles (kaedama) for ¥150. Also 5⭐️ to cameraman who took a nice photo of us eating ramen.
