Did the higher end omakase. It was my first omakase, and they made the experience great. Everything was top notch, and felt like each dish that came out was the best one I've ever had. The pairing and timing of the dishes complimented each other well 10/10 would recommend
Just had another incredible meal at Matsue Sushi Shibuya Scramble! I first visited three years ago, and I am so happy to report that this place has stayed completely consistent in quality. The food is truly excellent—the fish is ridiculously fresh and practically melts in your mouth. Beyond the food, the staff is wonderfully warm and friendly, making the whole dining experience feel special and welcoming. A fantastic surprise: the English-speaking chef who served me three years ago is still there! It was great to see a familiar face and be able to chat comfortably about the meal. If you're looking for top-tier sushi with great vibes and rock-solid consistency in Shibuya, this is the place. Can't wait for my next visit!
We had an amazing omakase experience sitting directly at the counter. Watching every course being prepared right in front of us made the meal even more special. Everything was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The chef was very friendly and took great care in preparing and serving each dish. You could really see the attention to detail and craftsmanship that went into every course. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommended if you want to experience authentic omakase in Tokyo. You need to make a reservation at least the day before in order to be able to enjoy this dinner.
Wow! Truly some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Every single piece brought a new and exciting flavor, and all the fish were surely the freshest fish I’ve ever tasted. I loved sitting at the bar watching the chefs make the sushi, they were all so friendly too! However be sure to make a reservation, we waited for over an hour in line.
Absolutely stunning. We stumbled upon this place after visiting Shibuya Sky, and it was our unexpected culinary experience of the trip! We chose the big Omakase menu at the counter, and all the dishes individually were a masterpiece, and the service very friendly and polite. Easy reccommendation to visit
