The sushi is absolutely delicious here, I was humming with pleasure as I ate because it was so good! The miso soup was also so good! One of the chefs came over and folded our chopsticks holder into a little paper crane for us, adorable. We were just hungry and looking for something before hopping on the subway but we lucked out when we decided on this sushi place.
An absolute highlight in Tokyo! The sushi was exceptional—every piece was crafted with incredible skill, precision, and attention to detail. The sushi chef is not only a true master of his craft but also brings a warm sense of humor that makes the entire experience even more memorable. His friendly personality created a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere from start to finish. Outstanding food, wonderful hospitality, and an unforgettable evening. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic sushi experience in Tokyo! 🍣😊
We found this excellent sushi spot near our hotel, in Ueno Station, second floor up from Asakusa entrance. Very welcoming and friendly staff. We had the lunch set menu with a variety of nagiri, bowl of miso soup. We also ordered an eel roll. The food was delicious and fresh. Would highly recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner.
Sushi Tsune (Kaisendokoro Sushitsune) Atre Ueno Convenient sushi restaurant located inside Atre Ueno, just next to the main entrance of Ueno Station (1st floor area). The sushi is very good, fresh, and well prepared. The restaurant is known for its quality seafood and skilled chefs preparing classic Edo-style sushi. The service is smooth and efficient, and the staff are friendly, making the experience pleasant even during busy hours. Overall, a very good option if you are around Ueno Station and looking for fresh sushi in a convenient location.
Fantastic sushi spot with incredibly fresh seafood. The uni is rich and creamy, and the tuna is especially flavorful and perfectly prepared, making each bite memorable. The staff are very nice and helpful, creating a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere throughout the meal. They can communicate in simple English, which makes ordering and asking questions easy even if you don’t speak Japanese.
