A hidden gem in a basement, with a delicious menu and a very friendly and helpful waitress. Great value. Highly recommended.
Food prices are reasonable and cost less than $20.00 per person. Sashimi is really fresh, ordered two plates (3 pieces per plate). Free flow of tea and set meal is oishi too. If you want more Sashimi and seafood options, dinner would be ideal. Definitely will visit again. 😊🌻
Very good eel price reason price. Big portions!
Located just off the busy Takeshita Street in Harajuku, this seafood restaurant offers a surprisingly calm and traditional Japanese atmosphere despite being in a major tourist area. The interior features warm wooden tones with semi-private seating, making it comfortable for solo diners as well as small groups. The subtle cherry blossom designs on the walls add a nice Japanese touch and create a relaxed dining environment. I ordered the Sashimi Set (¥1,480 including tax), and it was excellent value for the price. The assortment included tuna, salmon, and white fish, all fresh and well-balanced. The set comes with rice, miso soup, and a small side dish, making it a very satisfying and complete meal. There is also a live seafood tank inside the restaurant, which adds a sense of freshness and reassurance. Table condiments are well prepared, and overall the set meal is thoughtfully put together. If you’re looking for a quiet, reliable Japanese meal in Harajuku, especially during lunch, this is a very solid choice. Highly recommended for both tourists and locals.
