Seafood Buffet Dining Ginza Happo
Tokyo
Recensioner
Visited on June 1st 2026. 13,000 yen per person which is great value as a tourist. A huge variety of seafood options including some live seafood like abalone, and also a decent amount of meat selection. The crab legs were filled with meat and were fresh and juicy. Highly recommended dipping it into the crab vinegar. The cooked dishes were also extensive with many Japanese-Chinese staples and also a fried food section although I mostly focused on the seafood. Definitely worth a visit if you want to indulge on seafood.
No issues getting a seat when they open at 11am. Seeing mostly Americans going for this might be due to free flow beer ?? Snowcrab taste better however king crab has more meat. Wagyu taste normal, bake oyster is nice and be sure to cover your shellfish with the net provided as they will pop ! Price is now 13000yen for the basic buffet which is still reasonable for the spread. Fried food is nice and crisp and Peking duck taste good. Chinese food is also on point which is similar to the reduced spice that you get in a hotel buffet spread Letdown: There is always a few waiters standing in front of us looking at us which can be uncomfortable. Dessert and fruits section is lacking in quality
Tokyo has soooo many restaurants to choose from so each day was a challenge deciding what to eat. This place was on my daughter's list of things to do while in Tokyo and Im happy she suggested it. Its all you can eat and drink and everything was good. The venue is large and each table has a grill to prepare your meats and seafood. Our plates were cleared often so the table stayed relatively clutter free. The huge array of fresh seafood was astonishing. I really enjoyed the large boiled horsehair crab. Nice lump crab meat! There was a nice variety of cooked food with lots of vegetables. My only complaint was while the flavors of the prepared food were great they were lukewarm at best. The cold and hot sake were both really good and I enjoyed make cocktails with the mango liqueur and soda water. Its quite pricey but I believe we got monies worth. If my daughter gets her way we might even visit 1 more time before leaving.
Unlimited food and drinks (including alcohol) for 2 hours! I made sure we had enough crab legs to make it worth it, then the wagyu beef came and it was very good. Had some clams and other shellfish and prawns. Sashimi was fresh and tasty. Did not have much cooked food but even the small amounts I had were of good quality. great experience. for the price, it’s similar to what we have in Melbourne, but with a Japanese twist!! They had very nice ice creams and deserts.
