Summary: not worth the price/ hype I chose this omakase because of the tabelog high rating and good photos online, but my experience here was not good. Ordered the seasonal omakase nigiri which was 27500yen pp. As a person who have gone to many omakase in japan, the amount of food and course they served does not live up the price. There was no rice/noodles at the end, i would say i was 80% full by the end of dessert. The food was fresh and okay, definitely not wow. They will give u a menu of todays special at the beginning of course. The chef recommended crab but we told the waiter specifically that we DO NOT want to extra order the crab, they did not listen but still put down the crab and charged us 5500yen extra. The bill just showed a handwritten total amount without showing subitems, which i was think was unclear and sketchy. Im pretty sure that with the same price, you can find another place with a much high quality of food and service. Will not come here again.
Really exceptional. Sushi chefs and staff are all very personable and friendly . Shari is very good. Neta is great .I don’t think I’ve ever had neta that tender yet toothsome. Outclasses the 1 star sushi joints in the U.S out of the water for sure. Small dishes were also good. I really enjoyed the matcha dessert too. Our first time in Japan, they really made us comfortable without feeling stiff. They gave us an anniversary plate which is very thoughtful. Flawless execution, pacing was perfect.

From an entire hairy crab (fondly nicknamed George) to luscious uni, shimmering caviar, buttery tuna belly, wagyu, and more—every bite was a revelation. It wasn’t just the food; it was the laughter, the warmth, and Chef Sakagami’s kindness that made the evening pure joy. Two years later, I still catch myself smiling at the memory. If you’re planning a trip to Japan, do yourself a favor—skip the hype and come here. You’ll leave with a full heart, a happy belly, and a story you’ll cherish forever.
