I've always wondered what people meant when they say that wagyu melts in your mouth. This place answered me. The kobe fillet is very tender and has a distinct taste. Very high quality. Our chef Mizuki was amazing and Ainu was also amazing! Definitely recommend here, but it is pricey so be aware.
Tried Kobe steak for the first time and I have to say it was delicious. Service was excellent. Only downside for me is that it is not fully halal as they say. The meat may be halal but there is cross contamination. Wasn't cheap either, I had the fillet steak and 2 drinks and the cost was £210. Not sure its really worth it but I have to admit the food and experience was great.
My first experience with A5 Kobe beef, but it will not be the last one! Mizuki was professional, kind and knowledgeable. She gave us a total experience. From the explanation of the differences in beefs to the cooking of the beef at the perfect temperature. The place is quaint and clean. Soft atmosphere, where you can relax and let your palate go on an amazing quest of flavors. This was a very upscale experience.
I tried this place after my friend highly recommended it to me. It was my first experience trying Kobe beef. We were helped by Ashley who was very friendly and well spoken. Overall the food was great, I really enjoyed the sashimi and steak. The soup and stew were great too. Personally I wouldn’t recommend this place for the food alone since it’s pretty overpriced and wasn’t a better experience than wagyu I’ve had in Vancouver, but the staff are very friendly and the food tastes good. They specifically target tourists and the pricing is similar to restaurants I’ve been to in Vancouver for Wagyu, which you can get cheaper elsewhere in Tokyo. If you’re looking for a place with great service and good food this place is a good option, and despite feeling like it was overpriced I still had a great time and got to talk to other tourists.
We were recommended this Kobe steakhouse from our tour guide. Our family was sat in a private room, and was given a full breakdown of the different types of Kobe beef. Mizuki was amazing and took great care of us, carefully explaining each option and offering superb recs. This was our second time this trip trying Kobe, and we were blown away. Hands down an amazing experience with a very intimate atmosphere, and an expertly prepared meal! Highly recommended for anyone in the area!
