An absolute masterpiece of a restaurant— You have the best view of the godzilla. Nikutei Futago Shinjuku is a massive hidden gem and easily one of the finest dining spots in the entire area! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is amazingly elegant, sleek, and beautifully designed. The quality of the meat and every single dish served was out of this world—melt-in-your-mouth perfection! On top of that, the service was unbelievably attentive, polite, and top-tier throughout the whole evening. It elevated the entire experience into something truly unforgettable. If you are anywhere near Shinjuku, you simply cannot miss this spot. Exceptional in every single way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Absolutely loved this yakiniku restaurant. They offer both set menus and the option to order individual cuts, and the wagyu beef was genuinely incredible — beautifully marbled, rich, and full of flavor. I chose the 7-course set menu, and it was definitely enough to leave me completely full, happy, and ready to go straight to sleep satisfied afterward. Every dish felt high quality and carefully prepared. The service was wonderful as well. A special thank you to Yukako, who was such a kind and attentive waitress and made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant has tables for groups, but it’s also very comfortable for solo diners. One important thing to know before visiting: bring a physical credit card, because they do not accept Apple Pay.

This is our last night in Japan. We’ve been to so many good and great restaurants. We wanted to do Wagyu Yakiniku and not at a tourist spot. Our concierge at the Kimpton suggested we come here - we were not disappointed. We didn’t Nikitei enjoy course. Wagyu sushi Wagyu tartare Wagyu platter to grill at the table And a sirloin sukiyaki style dish - a large thin slice of A5 sirloin that is marinated just before a quick grill and then placed into a bowl with an egg yolk and seasoned sauce. Last course was sherry blossom ice cream This was a great food experience and the quality shone throughout. Service was attentive and appropriately paced. We felt extremely welcome. During our dinner our waitress told us that there is also a sister restaurant in SoHo NYC. Definitely a must try if you want quality and a quiet elegant dining experience
The dining experience here is absolutely excellent. We have the set menu and every single course impresses us. This is the best wagyu BBQ experience I’ve ever have. Also the servers here are very kind! Definitely will come back again when I visit Tokyo in the future.
